About Us

Between the Lines Driving School is a privately owned company based out of Winkler, Manitoba. We serve the new drivers of Southern Manitoba by providing in car lessons to teach, review, and prepare drivers to pursue the Class 5 Road Test. These lessons provide you as the driver with valuable one-on-one instructing time with a professional who is certified to teach the road guidelines and is also an instructor of the Driver Z program through MPI. Being familiar with the province’s curriculum and staying updated of any changes to our formal regulations allows myself as the instructor to provide you with the most current and accurate information. Having been a vehicle mechanic in the past, I am equipped with a thorough knowledge of my vehicle, a standard of regular vehicle maintenance, and intuition as to when a part is needing an upgrade. I equip my vehicle with winter tires during the winter months. This same vehicle must pass an annual safety to ensure your ultimate safety.

Driving is, and always has been, a passion of mine. Operating vehicles of many kinds has always been an enjoyment and something that intrigues me. I currently am certified up to Class 1, have a Private Pilot License, Boating, and others! I am Southern MB, born and raised, and am very familiar with our local cities, towns, villages, and gravel roads. This will allow me to give you the necessary exposure to various driving scenarios and environments.
